Atelier Abdelky is a studio for the design and creation of painted tiles. Ranging from small, two-tile paintings to large murals consisting of tens of tiles, the studio’s pieces can be treated as standalone works of visual art or incorporated into an interior as a permanent decorative element.
Nude Collection
From the charcoal life drawings of Youssef Abdelké to the photography of Ren Hang and Araki, I've always been fascinated by the nude form in art. In my first series I wanted to make my own contribution to that tradition.
Flower Collection
Working as a ceramist who paints on tiles, I love blurring the line between fine art and decorative art. In this collection, I wanted to pay tribute to the flower, that most central element in so many decorative art traditions, from Iznik to William Morris.
